Postgraduate coursework students of Tropical Environmental Management, who wish to study an elective unit at a TS–CRC partner institution, may be eligible for up to $450 in travel assistance.
Who may apply?
- TEM students at Charles Darwin University taking suitable elective units at JCU or UQ
- Postgraduate course-work students at UQ or JCU wishing to take TEM units at CDU.
How do I apply?
To apply for travel assistance, you need to
- Write a letter to the Chief Executive Officer, Tropical Savannas CRC, Charles Darwin University, Darwin, NT 0909, in which you:
- confirm your candidature in coursework at CDU or JCU or UQ
- state that you are not receiving any other support for this travel (for example you are not already being paid by your employer to travel)
- nominate the unit you wish to study, and confirm that it is not offered at your host university
- include your full contact details.
- If your application meets these conditions, you will then receive a letter of approval.
How will I be paid?
You will receive payment after travel. You need to send the Business Manager, Tropical Savannas CRC, Charles Darwin University, Darwin, NT 0909
- a copy of your letter of approval
- tax invoices for accommodation and/or travel up to the value of $450
You will then be reimbursed by cheque in the mail.
